Certified Health Professional ACSM EP-C, PN1, CISSN
AthleticTraynorServices is a concept by Melissa Traynor ACSM EP-C, PN1, CISSN that involves bringing you a blend of experiences and tools to help you #fitinfitness and healthy eating anytime, anywhere, no matter your body or perceived abilities. In order to perform in and out of the office, and in doing things you love for a long time, we must make good food, good vibes and movement of all kinds a part of the norm. This can be a challenge due to time, budget constraints, a lack of accountability or not having the right tools. The goal is always to help your level of #MPOWERment so you learn and apply how it is possible to live a holistically healthier life no matter the obstacles in your way. From your home or condo, an equipped studio or gym, to outdoor training and forms of online communications, the aim is to meet you where you are at in terms of your knowledge, skills and abilities with an emphasis towards busy parents and families looking to thrive, not just survive. There is always a way to fit in fitness all while having some fun, but yes, you've gotta earn it ;-) xox
"I soon found that Melissa was very knowledgeable and very accredited, and well qualified."

You are wasting your potential…or are you?!? Far too often people are quick to judge who someone should be and the standard they should hold themselves to. While for many this comes from a heartfelt space, I hate to break it to you, but this expectation you force upon others […]
I think I should repost this tomorrow and again every day for the next month in honour of the great Bill Murray. If you don’t get the reference, well that is unfortunate ;-DIt has been a while since I shared a rock and metal playlist so here is one for […]

I am making a point in certain posts to state that I am coming from a client because nowadays there is such a desire for ooh’s and ahh’s and constant newness and variety in exercises. Truth be told though, REAL people, which are the majority, are still in need of […]

…some research proves a big breakfast is the first step. In reality, it is a very individual thing. For the most part, yes, eating a high protein breakfast with some complex fiber-rich carbohydrates from veggies and fruits and some whole grains will pretty much help you start off on the […]

I was having a conversation the other day with a new client, who also happens to be a food scientist…cool right! We were chatting about people’s ideas of who and what a chef vs a nutritionist vs a foodie is about and do. It is understandable that people who do […]
